Katie Anderson I am 27 years old. I was widowed 5 months ago to my partner of 9 years. I have felt pretty lost since then. I am trying to get my life back on track, and become the woman that I once was. I decided to have my photos taken by Peachfur so when I am having a ‘bad day’ I can look at the photos and remind myself that I am a strong, confident, sexy woman!

I was extremely nervous before the shoot, as I’ve never considered myself photogenic. At one point, I even thought of cancelling! However, I am SO glad that I never. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was made to feel so comfortable. The atmosphere was professional yet very personal, so I relaxed in no time.

When I received the photos I was overwhelmed at how amazing they look. My friends and family are so used to seeing me in old tracksuits that they even wondered “Is that really you?!”

Thanks again Michelle. I have one of the photo’s on my wall, and whenever I pass it, I think to myself “That is the real me... the girl I see in the mirror is just a shadow of my real self!”
